A variety of Fourier-invariant Gaussian beams [PDF]
A two-parameter family of astigmatic elliptical Gaussian (AEG) optical vortices is found, which are free space modes up to scale and rotation. We calculate the total normalized orbital angular momentum of AEG vortices, which can be integer, fractional ...

Topological charge of superposition of optical vortices described by a geometric sequence
Here, we investigate coaxial superpositions of Gaussian optical vortices that can be described by a geometric sequence. For all superpositions analyzed, a topological charge (TC) is derived.

Algorithm for Gaussian Integer Exponentiation
In this paper we introduce a novel algorithm for Gaussian integer exponentiation that significantly improves its performance. We compare the performance of Gaussian integer exponentiation (using new and existing algorithms) to real integer exponentiation

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

Perfect Gaussian Integer Sequences With Two Cycles
The complex sequences including Gaussian integers have received considerable attention in the past due to their wide applications in communications and cryptosystems. This paper proposes three new base sequences along with six known ones to construct two

FastNano Liquid: An Automated Platform for Small‐Angle X‐ray Scattering‐Based Materials Discovery
We present FastNano Liquid, an automated small‐ and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering platform for the combined synthesis and characterization of (nano)materials. The platform is coupled to varied reactor workflows for both in situ studies of reaction kinetics and ex situ screening of synthesis conditions to support machine learning‐guided exploration ...

The notion introduced by Ohanian that spin is a wave property is implemented, both in Dirac and in Schrödinger quantum mechanics. We find that half-integer spin is the consequence of azimuthal dependence in two of the four spinor components ...

Memristive‐Gated RC‐Delay Synaptic Transistors for Time‐Encoded Analog in‐Memory Computing
A Memristive‐Gated Transistor for Time‐Encoded Analog In‐Memory Computing — By exploiting the RC delay of a self‐rectifying interface‐type memristor, nonlinear I–V distortion is structurally bypassed, enabling 3‐bit nonvolatile memory, spike‐timing‐based analog encoding, and hardware‐calibrated reservoir‐computing validation within a unified device ...

Non-convex mixed-integer nonlinear programming : a survey [PDF]
A wide range of problems arising in practical applications can be formulated as Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Programs (MINLPs). For the case in which the objective and constraint functions are convex, some quite effective exact and heuristic algorithms are ...
