Successive Azide and DNA Functionalization for Reversible and Controlled Association of Single‐Wall Carbon Nanotubes

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A newly synthesized bifunctional azide—diazonium linker allows robust one‐step introduction of azido groups to single‐wall carbon nanotubes. Versatility of the azido groups as reactive handles is demonstrated by further derivatization with 6‐carboxyfluorescein and oligonucleotides.

Female Gaze for Every Gaze

open access: yes, 2023
The overall dominance of white, cisgender, straight malecentered media remains largely unchanged and it is still considered the ”default” or ”universal” perspective. As a result, filmmaking is often limited to representing only a narrow view of humanity.

A Fast and Highly Stable Aqueous Calcium‐Ion Battery for Sustainable Energy Storage

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 18, Issue 6, March 15, 2025.
Aqueous batteries provide a low‐cost, safer alternative to lithium‐ion batteries, but their viability is often limited by rapid electrode degradation. This study shows that replacing K+ with divalent Ca2+ ions in the electrolyte significantly boosts the stability of both copper hexacyanoferrate cathodes and polyimide anodes, enabling fast‐charging ...
