Gestational diabetes in multifetal versus singleton pregnancies: A multicenter cohort study

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
Gestational diabetes in multifetal pregnancies was associated with increased maternal morbidity but less adverse neonatal and long‐term offspring outcomes than in singleton pregnancies, suggesting that current diagnostic thresholds derived from singleton gestations may not fully reflect the unique metabolic and clinical characteristics of multifetal ...

The effectiveness of implementation intentions in children: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesBritish Journal of Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract Self‐regulation abilities in childhood are important for long‐term academic achievement and healthy development. As self‐regulatory abilities are still developing, ‘simple’ interventions are needed to foster self‐regulation. Implementation intentions are simple plans that could promote goal achievement in children.

Phase Variations of GBR 16 kHz VLF Signals as Received at Nainital [PDF]

open access: yes, 1980
134-137The phase variation of GBR 16kHz signals originating from Rugby, UK, were observed at the Nainital observatory. The observed diurnal phase variations of GBR 16 kHz signals have been found to have 98.5% correlation with those calculated from the ...

NMDA receptor subunit‐dependent analysis of radiprodil inhibition in neonatal male rat substantia nigra dopaminergic neurons

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background and Purpose Radiprodil is a GluN2B subunit selective NMDA receptor negative allosteric modulator which is currently under clinical investigation as a possible anti‐epileptic drug for paediatric use. Our goal was to investigate the inhibition of dopaminergic neuron NMDA responses by radiprodil.

EMU and trade: The euro effect on the agricultural sector

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Agricultural Economics/Revue canadienne d'agroeconomie, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper uses a structural gravity model to examine the partial equilibrium effects of the European Monetary Union (EMU) on trade for the agricultural sector. We find robust evidence that EMU has increased trade both between members and between EMU and non‐EMU member countries. This positive link is found in most member countries.

[3H]GBR-12935 binding to dopamine uptake sites in rat striatum

open access: yes, 1990
The binding of the selective dopamine uptake inhibitor [3H]GBR-12935 to rat striatum was studied. Competition by mazindol and dopamine against [3H]GBR-12935 binding revealed monophasic binding curves.
