Antibacterial Activity of Heteropolytungstates Against Proteus mirabilis

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 18, 22 June 2026.
We investigated the in vitro antibacterial activity of several heteropolytungstates against P. mirabilis, a drug‐resistant pathogen. All tested polyanions inhibited bacterial growth, with the Preyssler–Pope–Jeannin polyanion P5W30 exhibiting the highest activity (MIC = 0.78 mg/mL).

Spatiotemporal changes in soil chemical properties when cover crops are integrated into raised, stale seedbed corn production systems

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 9, Issue 2, June 2026.
Abstract Commercial row crop production in the midsouthern United States is characterized by extensive application of inorganic soil inputs and management practices that contribute to degraded soil health. The Age at Onset of LRRK2 p.Gly2019Ser Parkinson's Disease Across Ancestries and Countries of Origin

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, Volume 99, Issue 6, Page 1394-1404, June 2026.
Objectives The objective of this study was to elucidate differences in the cumulative incidence of Leucine‐rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) p.Gly2019Ser‐related Parkinson's disease (PD; LRRK2‐PD) between ancestries and countries. Methods We included 922 unrelated p.Gly2019Ser variant carriers (affected = 762 and unaffected = 160) from the Global Parkinson ...
