A new kind of Bernstein-Schurer-Stancu-Kantorovich-type operators based on q-integers
Agrawal et al. (Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. 8:169-180, 2015) introduced a Stancu-type Kantorovich modification of the operators proposed by Ren and Zeng (Bull. Korean Math. Soc.

Approximation of associated GBS operators by Szasz-Mirakjan type operators
In this article, the approximation properties of the Szasz-Mirakjan type operators are studied for the function of two variables, and the rate of convergence of the bivariate operators is determined in terms of total and partial modulus of continuity.

The approximation of bivariate Chlodowsky-Szász-Kantorovich-Charlier-type operators
In this paper, we introduce a bivariate Kantorovich variant of combination of Szász and Chlodowsky operators based on Charlier polynomials. Then, we study local approximation properties for these operators.

Goldstone boson counting in linear sigma models with chemical potential [PDF]
We analyze the effects of finite chemical potential on spontaneous breaking of internal symmetries within the class of relativistic field theories described by the linear sigma model.

Anarchic Yukawas and top partial compositeness: the flavour of a successful marriage
The top quark can be naturally singled out from other fermions in the Standard Model due to its large mass, of the order of the electroweak scale. We follow this reasoning in models of pseudo Nambu Goldstone Boson composite Higgs, which may derive from ...

Observations on staggered fermions at non-zero lattice spacing [PDF]
We show that the use of the fourth-root trick in lattice QCD with staggered fermions corresponds to a non-local theory at non-zero lattice spacing, but argue that the non-local behavior is likely to go away in the continuum limit.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Spatially Anisotropic Heisenberg Kagome Antiferromagnet
We study the quasi-one-dimensional limit of the spin-1/2 quantum Heisenberg antiferromagnet on the kagome lattice. The lattice is divided into antiferromagnetic spin-chains (exchange J) that are weakly coupled via intermediate "dangling" spins (exchange ...

Acute caffeine treatment protects the developing retina from ischemia‐induced cell death
Caffeine reduces cell death in the developing retina under ischemia (OGD). This effect does not involve BDNF upregulation or antioxidant pathways (NRF2/VEGF). Neuroprotection occurs mainly through adenosine A2A receptor antagonism, decreasing glutamate release and excitotoxicity, highlighting caffeine's potential as an acute neuroprotective agent in ...

Hadron Collider Sensitivity to Fat Flavourful $Z^\prime$s for $R_{K^{(\ast)}}$
We further investigate the case where new physics in the form of a massive $Z^\prime$ particle explains apparent measurements of lepton flavour non-universality in $B \rightarrow K^{(\ast)} l^+ l^-$ decays.
