We make a detailed study of the infinite dimensional Galilean Conformal Algebra (GCA) in the case of two spacetime dimensions. Classically, this algebra is precisely obtained from a contraction of the generators of the relativistic conformal symmetry in 2d.

Combining ability study in rice (Oryza sativa L.)
In the present investigation combining ability study was undertaken by crossing five lines and four testers in Line x Tester fashion. Based on the gca effects, the five parents CO (R) 50, ADT 49, MDU 6, CSR 27 and Ezhome 1 were identified as the best ...

Sparse GCA and Thresholded Gradient Descent
Generalized correlation analysis (GCA) is concerned with uncovering linear relationships across multiple datasets. It generalizes canonical correlation analysis that is designed for two datasets. We study sparse GCA when there are potentially multiple generalized correlation tuples in data and the loading matrix has a small number of nonzero rows.

Combining ability analysis for yield, its components and physiological traits in rice under sodicity
An investigation was carried out in rice (Oryza sativa L.) in line × tester mating design utilizing five lines (ADT 43, BPT 5204, CO (R) 50, ADT 39 and I.W. Ponni) and four testers (TRY (R) 2, FL 478, CSR 23 and CO 43).

Combining ability study for yield and quality traits in cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.)
Seven cucumber (Cucumissativus L.) genotypes (3 lines and 4 testers) were crossed in a line × tester mating design. The resultant 12 hybrids and their parents were evaluated using Randomised Block Design with two replications during Kharif 2018 ...

Combining ability and heterotic grouping of inbred lines for kernel yield in maize (Zea mays L.)
Development and identification of suitable parents for hybridization is a vital step in hybrid production programmes. Success of hybrid breeding depend on how distantly the parents are related, which can be possible through crossing of parents belongs to

Combining ability analysis for yield and its component traits in Blackgram (Vigna mungo (L.) Hepper) [PDF]
A diallele analaysis of 8 x 8 was studied in black gram (Vigna mungo) with a view to understand the combining ability, nature of gene action andpotential for the exploitation of heterosis using nine quantitative characters viz., days to first flower ...
