Twisted Polynomials and Forgery Attacks on GCM [PDF]
Polynomial hashing as an instantiation of universal hashing is a widely employed method for the construction of MACs and authenticated encryption (AE) schemes, the ubiquitous GCM being a prominent example. It is also used in recent AE proposals within the CAESAR competition which aim at providing nonce misuse resistance, such as POET.

We downscale CanESM2 with the Regional Climate Model version 4 (20 km) and evaluate against 15 stations to derive monthly PET (Hargreaves–Samani) and SPEI for northeastern Iran (1990–2009, 2040–2059, 2080–2099). Results show robust PET increases and a shift toward more negative monthly SPEI—especially April–September—indicating earlier onset and longer

Framework illustrating the comparison of different reference evapotranspiration (ETo) estimation methods and the integration of baseline ETo, crop water requirement (CWR), and irrigation water requirement (IWR) calculations with downscaled CMIP6 climate projections under SSP245 and SSP585 scenarios for the mid‐century and late‐century periods across ...

Statistical downscaling of GCM simulations to Streamflow
A multi-tiered forecast procedure is employed to simulate real-time operational seasonal forecasts of categorized (below-normal, near-normal and above-normal) streamflow at the inlets of twelve dams of the Vaal and upper Tugela river catchments in South Africa.

Changing Water Resources in the Indus Basin: A Multi‐Model Budyko‐Based Analysis
Budyko‐based analysis evaluates historical (1962–2005) and future hydroclimatic change across the Indus River Basin. Budyko shifts indicate rising atmospheric evaporative demand and increasing energy limitation under future scenarios. ABSTRACT Assessing hydroclimatic variability and future water availability is crucial for sustainable water‐resource ...

A Short Guide to the Climatic Variables of the Last Glacial Maximum for Biogeographers.
Ecological niche models are widely used for mapping the distribution of species during the last glacial maximum (LGM). Although the selection of the variables and General Circulation Models (GCMs) used for constructing those maps determine the model ...

ABSTRACT This study presents an innovative assessment model for analyzing the evolution of degraded soils subjected to different reclamation strategies. The proposal combines statistical and artificial intelligence tools to jointly integrate multiple physical and chemical soil properties, allowing for a more synthetic view of the processes.

A NOVEL APPROACH FOR CLASSIFICATION OF MOVING OBJECT WITH GCM AND PCA-GCM METHOD
In this paper, we propose a new tracking method that uses Gaussian combination Model (GCM) and PCAGCM approach for traffic object tracking. The GCM approach consists of three different Gaussian distributions, the average, standard deviation and weight respectively. This paper combines the GCM and PCA-GCM for object tracking.

ABSTRACT The effects of fish oil supplementation on omega‐3 (n‐3) polyunsaturated fatty acids, particularly intermediates between eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA, 20:5n‐3) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA, 22:6n‐3), that may provide valuable metabolic information, have not been fully characterized in older populations.
