Abundance of non-typifying proteins in fetal brain fractions including GCPs, as determined by Western blot.

open access: yes, 2012
A shows the relative abundance in fetal brain homogenate (H), low-speed supernatant (LSS) and GCPs (40 µg protein/lane) of six non-typifying proteins, a cytosolic marker (Ldh) and a growth cone marker (Gap43). Hsp90 is Hsp90ab1.

Modernizing environmental data management for ecological research, management, and conservation at regional scales

open access: yesWildlife Society Bulletin, EarlyView.
We developed a web GIS system that delivers geospatial data for Wyoming and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) using cloud‐optimized formats and open‐source tools to support regional ecological research and management. Using pronghorn as an example, we combined observed locations with environmental covariates from our geospatial library to map ...

Exploratory MRI and Clinical Marker Analysis of Pustulotic Arthro‐Osteitis Disease Activity From a Phase 3 Brodalumab Trial

open access: yesThe Journal of Dermatology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pustulotic arthro‐osteitis (PAO) is a clinically important osteoarticular comorbidity affecting approximately 9%–28% of patients with palmoplantar pustulosis (PPP), yet early recognition and standardized activity assessment remain challenging, particularly in routine dermatology practice.

Effect of interfacial synergism between gliadin particles and soybean lecithin on W1/O/W2 emulsions: Encapsulation stability, interfacial rheology, nutrition delivery and in vitro digestion

open access: yesGrain & Oil Science and Technology
As a natural oil-soluble emulsifier to replace Polyglycerol Polyricinoleate (PGPR), lecithin's application in double emulsions (DEs) remains constrained due to low encapsulation efficiency and stability, while incorporating Pickering particles within the

Trade study plan for Graphite Composite Primary Structure (GCPS) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
This TA 2 document (with support from TA 1) describes the trade study plan that will identify the most suitable structural configuration for an SSTO winged vehicle capable of delivering 25,000 lbs to a 220 nm circular orbit at 51.6 degree inclination For

Rapid loss, and slow recovery, of coral reef structural complexity resulting from a prolonged marine heatwave

open access: yesJournal of Animal Ecology, EarlyView.
Using Structure‐from‐Motion photogrammetry in a longitudinal study, we show that although coral reef habitat complexity had declined significantly by the end of the most prolonged tropical marine heatwave on record, no further losses were detected and 3 years later the reef had begun to recover this critical ecosystem function.

Modern Management of the Menopause: Are We Measuring What Matters?

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Assess uptake of the Core Outcomes in Menopause (COMMA) core outcome sets (COS) and examine whether frontline treatments for vasomotor and genitourinary symptoms have been evaluated against these key outcomes. Design Methodological review. Setting Published literature and international clinical trial registries.

A validated 3D point‐cloud analysis workflow for the creation of seagrass canopy height models

open access: yesMethods in Ecology and Evolution, EarlyView.
Abstract Seagrasses support highly productive ecosystems in both temperate and tropical waters and provide essential ecosystem services. Despite their importance, the vertical structure of seagrasses (i.e. the canopy) remains poorly characterised at the microscale, even though it is a strong predictor of ecological processes that influence both ...

Gambling disorder in late life: A systematic review of behavioral patterns, clinical correlates, and psychotherapeutic interventions

open access: yesThe American Journal on Addictions, EarlyView.
Abstract Background and Objectives Gambling in older adults represents an emerging but still underrecognized mental health concern. Although gambling participation is increasingly observed in later life, the specific psychological, social, cognitive, and biological factors associated with gambling‐related problems in older adults remain insufficiently ...
