To every vertex algebra $V$ we associate a canonical decreasing sequence of subspaces and prove that the associated graded vector space $gr(V)$ is naturally a vertex Poisson algebra, in particular a commutative vertex algebra.

A fully coupled FEM–HH model shows that ideally capacitive microelectrodes can achieve lower charge‐density thresholds than Faradaic contacts under current‐controlled stimulation. The advantage stems from the dynamics of surface current density on capacitive interfaces, which redirects current beneath adherent neurons.

Trust‐region filter algorithms utilizing Hessian information for gray‐box optimization
Abstract Optimizing industrial processes often involves gray‐box models that couple algebraic glass‐box equations with black‐box components lacking analytic derivatives. Such systems challenge derivative‐based solvers. The classical trust‐region filter (TRF) algorithm provides a robust framework but requires extensive parameter tuning and numerous ...

A trust‐region funnel algorithm for gray‐box optimization
Abstract Gray‐box optimization, where parts of optimization problems are represented by algebraic models while others are treated as black‐box models lacking analytic derivatives, remains a challenge. Trust‐region (TR) methods provide a robust framework for gray‐box problems through local reduced models (RMs) for black‐box components, but they are ...

Existence of the solutions of an interval tensor complementarity problem [PDF]
In this paper, we consider a general tensor complementarity problem with interval parameters, and study the conditions under which, the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the problem are guaranteed.

From AKNS to derivative NLS hierarchies via deformations of associative products
Using deformations of associative products, derivative nonlinear Schrodinger (DNLS) hierarchies are recovered as AKNS-type hierarchies. Since the latter can also be formulated as Gelfand-Dickey-type Lax hierarchies, a recently developed method to obtain '

This article investigates how persistent homology, persistent Laplacians, and persistent commutative algebra reveal complementary geometric, topological, and algebraic invariants or signatures of real‐world data. By analyzing shapes, synthetic complexes, fullerenes, and biomolecules, the article shows how these mathematical frameworks enhance ...

Versal deformation of the Lie algebra $L_2$ [PDF]
We investigate deformations of the infinite dimensional vector field Lie algebra spanned by the fields $e_i = z^{i+1}d/dz$, where $i \ge 2 $. The goal is to describe the base of a ``versal'' deformation; such a versal deformation induces all the other ...
