Revisiting Fisher's n‐D statistical vision: From algebraic abstraction to modern visualization
Abstract We revisit early foundational results in mathematical statistics derived by Ronald A. Fisher. They involve sampling distributions of statistics calculated from independent and identically distributed Normal observations, namely the root mean square deviation; the mean absolute deviation, conditional on already knowing the value of the root ...

On the Hilbert depth of the Hilbert function of a finitely generated graded module
Let K be a field, A a standard graded K-algebra and M a finitely generated graded A-module. Inspired by our previous works, see [2] and [3], we study the invariant called Hilbert depth of hM, that is hdepth(hM)=max{d:∑j≤k(-1)k-j(d-jk-j)hM(j)≥0 for all ...

This study examines how Stratonovich integrals (SIs) affect the solutions of the Heisenberg ferromagnetic spin chain (HFSC) equation using the modified (G'/G)-expansion (MG'/GE) scheme.

An algebraic form of the Marchenko inversion. Partial waves with orbital momentum $l\ge 0$
We present a generalization of the algebraic method for solving the Marchenko equation (fixed-$l$ inversion) for any values of the orbital angular momentum $l$. We expand the Marchenko equation kernel in a separable form using a triangular wave set. The separable kernel allows a reduction of the equation to a system of linear equations.

Stability of Viscous Three‐Dimensional Stratified Couette Flow via Dispersion and Mixing
ABSTRACT This article explores the stability of stratified Couette flow in the viscous 3d$3d$ Boussinesq equations. In this system, mixing effects arise from the shearing background, and gravity acts as a restoring force leading to dispersive internal gravity waves.

An operator Riccati equation and reflectionless Schrodinger operators
In this paper, we study a connection between the operator Riccati equation $\displaystyle S'(x)=KS(x)+S(x)K-2S(x)KS(x), \quad x\in\mathbb{R}, $ and the set of reflectionless Schr\"odinger operators with operator-valued potentials.

A Cartan-Eilenberg approach to Homotopical Algebra [PDF]
In this paper we propose an approach to homotopical algebra where the basic ingredient is a category with two classes of distinguished morphisms: strong and weak equivalences.

Compact Manifolds With Unbounded Nilpotent Fundamental Groups and Positive Ricci Curvature
ABSTRACT It follows from the work of Kapovitch and Wilking that a closed manifold with nonnegative Ricci curvature has a uniformly almost nilpotent fundamental group. Leftover questions and conjectures, have asked if in this context the fundamental group is actually uniformly almost abelian. The main goal of this work is to construct examples (Mk9,gk)$(

GE-filters, ordering filters and left mappings in GE-algebras
The notions of ordering filter and left mapping in a GE-algebra are introduced, and their properties are investigated. Relations between ordering filters and GE-filters are established. Conditions for an ordering filter to be a GE-filter, and vice versa, are provided.

Kinetic Contribution to the Arbitrary Order Odd Frequency Moments of the Dynamic Structure Factor
ABSTRACT An exact expression is derived for the kinetic contribution to the odd (arbitrary order) frequency moments of the dynamic structure factor via a finite summation that features averages of even (all lower orders) powers of the momentum over the exact momentum distribution.
