A metastable‐phase evolution strategy is proposed for magnesium‐ion batteries, enabling the in situ formation of a metastable MgxT‐VS4 cathode during cycling. The metastable state reshapes Mg2+ storage kinetics and enhances structural stability, offering a new design paradigm for multivalent ion battery cathodes.

Percolation in living neural networks [PDF]
We study living neural networks by measuring the neurons' response to a global electrical stimulation. Neural connectivity is lowered by reducing the synaptic strength, chemically blocking neurotransmitter receptors.

Plasticity changes of molecular networks form a cellular learning process. Signaling network plasticity promotes cancer, metastasis, and drug resistance development. 55 plasticity‐related cancer drug targets are listed (20 having already approved drugs, 9 investigational drugs, and 26 being drug target candidates).

The dilution of gaseous products obtained at high‐current densities during CO2 electroreduction or water electrolysis enables their accurate quantification via online gas chromatography, which is crucial for reliable catalyst benchmarking. The corresponding Faradaic efficiencies can then be calculated with low deviations using two different instruments,

GEIS guidelines for gastrointestinal sarcomas (GIST) [PDF]
Gastrointestinal stromal sarcomas (GISTs) are the most common mesenchymal tumours originating in the digestive tract. They have a characteristic morphology, are generally positive for CD117 (c-kit) and are primarily caused by activating mutations in the KIT or PDGFRA genes(1). On rare occasions, they occur in extravisceral locations such as the omentum,

Gravitational instability of planetary gaps and its effect on orbital migration
Gap formation by giant planets in self-gravitating disks may lead to a gravitational edge instability (GEI). We demonstrate this GEI with global 3D and 2D self-gravitating disk-planet simulations using the ZEUS, PLUTO and FARGO hydrodynamic codes.
