Ecol EvolWe report the first complete mitochondrial genome of the near‐threatened frog Nanorana quadranus from the Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau. The 20,173 bp mitogenome includes 13 protein‐coding genes, 21 tRNAs, 2 rRNAs, and a control region. Phylogenetic analysis places N. quadranus in a clade with N.
