Phylogeny of the superfamily Gelechioidea (Lepidoptera: Ditrysia): an exemplar approach
Cladistics, 2004AbstractPhylogenetic relationships within the megadiverse lepidopteran superfamily Gelechioidea have been poorly understood and consequently the family level classification has been problematic. An analysis of phylogeny using 193 characters, including 241 informative character states, derived from larval, pupal and adult morphology and larval ecology ...

Phylogeny of the mega-diverse Gelechioidea (Lepidoptera): Adaptations and determinants of success
Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, 2011The Gelechioidea, with 18,000 described and many more unnamed species ranks among the most diverse lepidopteran superfamilies. Nevertheless, their taxonomy has remained largely unresolved, and phylogenetic affinities among gelechioid families and lower taxa have been insufficiently understood.

The adult, final-instar larva and pupa of Athrotaxivora tasmanica gen. n. and sp. n. are described. Although a member of the superfamily Gelechioidea, it does not clearly conform to any of the existing gelechioid families or subfamilies but is here ...

A catalogue of Indian Gelechiidae Stainton, 1854 (Lepidoptera: Gelechioidea)
ZootaxaWe present an annotated catalogue of the Lepidoptera family Gelechiidae of India, comprising 351 species in 80 genera, encompassing seven subfamilies. The Indian fauna represents 7.47% of global gelechiid species diversity (i.e., 4,700 species in 500 genera).

An annotated catalogue of Elachistinae of the World (Lepidoptera: Gelechioidea: Elachistidae).
Zootaxa, 2019An annotated catalogue of world species of Elachistinae (Lepidoptera: Gelechioidea: Elachistidae) is presented. The classification follows recent phylogenetic studies. Genera and the species within each genus are listed in alphabetical order. All family, genus and species-group names of Elachistinae published before 28 August 2018 are treated.

Phylogenetic Significance of the Frenulum Retinacula in the Gelechioidea (Microlepidoptera)
Annals of the Entomological Society of America, 1928In an earlier paper (Braun, 1924) the writer described for the family Gelechiidae, a specialized type of retinaculum for the frenulum spines in the female, and pointed out that this specialized retinaculum, termed a subradial retinaculum, is apparently a recognition character for the family.

A catalogue of Indian Stathmopodidae (Lepidoptera: Gelechioidea)
ZootaxaThis study presents a comprehensive catalogue of the family Stathmopodidae (Lepidoptera: Gelechioidea) known from India. A total of 53 species belonging to 10 genera are documented, along with information on their type localities, type depositories, distribution, host plants, and references to illustrations, where available.
