Experimental discrimination of geminate and non-geminate recombination in a-Si:H
Physical Review B, 2009A study of charge-carrier recombination in intrinsic hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) is presented using pulsed electrically and pulsed optically detected magnetic-resonance spectroscopies in order to measure the influence of spin-dependent recombination on photoluminescence (PL) and photoconductivity (PC).

Linguistic Inquiry, 2000Building on the analysis of long-distance geminates as reduplication, this article argues that the OCP may apply to identical consonants across an intervening vowel. Abstract Direct address provides most of the literary evidence for gemination, presumably because gemination is common to conversational discourse (and certainly was in Latin, if comedy is a guide). A hundred instances from Cicero’s speeches can be given, and another hundred from the combined works of Plautus and Terence.

Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 1996The validity of the model according to which geminate and non-geminate recombination are directly competing processes was investigated. While the non-geminate processes are described in terms of Dunstan's distant-pair model, the geminate distribution is extracted from an experimental quadrature frequency resolved spectrum (QFRS).
