Study on the Gemological Characteristics of Amber from Myanmar and Chinese Fushun
Key Engineering Materials, 2013This paper researches on the gemological characteristics of amber from Myanmar and Chinese Fushun by using of the basic instruments of gemology, SEM and FT-IR. Malahit Cu2(CO3) (OH)2 ve azurit (Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2) mineralleri Mersin iline bağlı Musalı köyü civarında Üst Kretase’de tektonik olarak bölgeye yerleşen Mersin ofiyoliti içerisinde gözlemlenmiştir. Altere olmuş gabro yan kayacının çatlak ve gözenek boşluklarında mavi ve yeşil renkli azurmalahitler, damarlar halinde bulunmaktadır.

There are chalcedony and amethyst formations in two fields in Aydincik-Yozgat (West of Aydincik District, Keslik area and Southwestern of Haciilyas). The gemstones in this region have been formed within the gaps and cracks of the brecciated rocks of the fault zone in altered andesites.
