Study on the Gemological Characteristics of Amber from Myanmar and Chinese Fushun
Key Engineering Materials, 2013This paper researches on the gemological characteristics of amber from Myanmar and Chinese Fushun by using of the basic instruments of gemology, SEM and FT-IR. The results show that the refractive index is approximately 1.54 both in Myanmar and Fushun amber, resin glossy as well as conchoidal fracture. While the hardness of Myanmar amber is much higher

Malahit Cu2(CO3) (OH)2 ve azurit (Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2) mineralleri Mersin iline bağlı Musalı köyü civarında Üst Kretase’de tektonik olarak bölgeye yerleşen Mersin ofiyoliti içerisinde gözlemlenmiştir. Altere olmuş gabro yan kayacının çatlak ve gözenek boşluklarında mavi ve yeşil renkli azurmalahitler, damarlar halinde bulunmaktadır.
