Can Sustainable Entrepreneurship Create Value for Enterprises? Examining the Roles of Corporate Reputation and Entrepreneurs' Self‐Promotion Behavior

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT To understand the heterogeneous performance outcomes of sustainable entrepreneurship, this study investigates the role of founder impression management. We develop and test a moderated mediation model, drawing on signaling and impression management theories, using a dual‐study design with longitudinal data (n = 217) and survey data (n = 259 ...

Routes to Cyclobutadiene and Cycloallyl Pt(II) Complexes: Dicationic Bis(Alkyne) Species as Intermediates

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates the synthesis of cationic Pt(II) η3‐cycloallyl complexes, and experimental and computational studies show a ligand bite‐angle dependence of their formation rates. The reactivity of these complexes with Brønsted acids was investigated, leading to the formation of cationic and dicationic Pt(II) η4‐cyclobutadiene complexes ...

Nitrooxylation in Organic Synthesis: From Classical Nitrate Ester Formation to Modern Catalytic Strategies

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Nitrooxylation—the installation of nitrate esters (–ONO2) has evolved from classical mixed‐acid protocols to catalytic and mechano‐, flow‐, photo‐, and electrochemical strategies. This review delineates ionic and radical manifolds for C–ONO2 bond formation, emphasizing mechanistic control, selected substrate scope, and selectivity.

Control of Gemcitabine Activity With Blue and Red Light

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Treating cancer with chemotherapy is generally associated with many side effects, which can be addressed by selectively releasing the desired drugs with visible light. Sixteen new blue light‐activatable cytostatics were introduced, with the gemcitabine derivative exhibiting ideal properties.
