Elevated TRIM25 Impairs Poly (ADP‐ribose) Metabolism via PARG Degradation and Mediates Compression‐Induced Intervertebral Disc Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TRIM25 acts as a multifunctional hub driving intervertebral disc degeneration under mechanical stress. Mechanical compression significantly upregulates TRIM25 expression, establishing it as a key E3 ubiquitin ligase platform. TRIM25 targets PARG and Ku80 via distinct molecular interfaces, triggering their ubiquitination and degradation.

Duplication of haemoglobin genes

Biochimie, 1972

Gene Duplication and Evolution

Science, 2001
Lynch and Conery ([1][1]) presented one of the first serious efforts to study the evolutionary fate of gene duplication using genomic sequence data. Their analysis led to several interesting observations, particularly with respect to the rate of gene duplication in eukaryotic genomes and ...

Duplications in theDMD gene

Human Mutation, 2006
The detection of duplications in Duchenne (DMD)/Becker Muscular Dystrophy (BMD) has long been a neglected issue. However, recent technological advancements have significantly simplified screening for such rearrangements. We report here the detection and analysis of 118 duplications in the DMD gene of DMD/BMD patients.

Duplicated homeobox genes in Xenopus

Developmental Biology, 1989
Multiple kinds of clones and restriction fragment polymorphisms are frequently encountered when analyzing genes of the tetraploid frog Xenopus laevis. Two types of cDNA clone have been isolated for homeobox gene 2. Analysis of their corresponding genomic clones confirmed the existence of clearly distinct restriction maps; in addition the nearby ...
