Resumo O pensamento do eterno retorno do mesmo, embora esteja no cerne da filosofia tardia de Nietzsche, não é abordado diretamente na Genealogia da moral. Isso não significa que ele esteja ausente desta obra, e nem o poderia, pois o filósofo via na possibilidade cosmológica do retorno a nova medida de valor para uma tentativa de superação do niilismo.
