Coffee processing, particularly through wet and semidry methods, generates significant amounts of residual biomass, especially during the pulping stage. Coffee pulp contains carbohydrates, proteins, fiber, minerals, sugars, fats, caffeine, and phenolic compounds, and has been identified as a promising ingredient for food development.
