Consistent conjectural variations equilibria in strategic multilateral exchange [PDF]

open access: yes
In this note, we address the problem of determining which conjectural variations general equilibria are consistent in strategic multilateral exchange. We therefore consider expectations in a simple conjectural general equilibrium model of a pure exchange

Influence of Sample Preparation and Processing Procedures on the Thermal Diffusivity of MgO‐C Refractories

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The thermal diffusivity of MgO‐C refractories is highly sensitive to sample preparation and processing procedures. In this article, the effects of coking sequence, machining conditions, structural inhomogeneity, and graphite coating application on measurements using laser flash apparatus are systematically investigated.

A generalized spatial price equilibrium model

open access: yesPapers of the Regional Science Association, 1984
The classical spatial price equilibrium model assumes that transport costs are known as a function of the flow on an arc of the network. In reality, transport costs are derived from the action of profit-maximizing transport firms called carriers. This paper extends the spatial price equilibrium concept to include carriers and illustrates how this model

Tribological Performance of 60NiTi Alloy Under Varying Contact Conditions and Elevated Temperatures in Linear Reciprocating Sliding

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates the tribological response of 60NiTi alloy under dry, water‐lubricated and high‐temperature conditions. The alloy exhibits decreasing wear volume and friction with increasing temperature due to the formation of protective oxide layers. The work clarifies dominant wear mechanisms and demonstrates the suitability of 60NiTi for high‐

A Sticky-Information General Equilibrium Model for Policy Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper presents a dynamic stochastic general-equilibrium model with a single friction in all markets: sticky information. In this economy, agents are inattentive because of the high cost of acquiring, absorbing and processing information, so that the

EBSD Study of Creep‐Induced Lattice Misorientation in MgO‐Particle‐Reinforced Austenitic Steel Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Creep experiments at 900°C on coarse‐grained steel‐ceramic composites containing recycled magnesia reveal that higher ceramic volume fractions significantly enhance the creep resistance. Detailed EBSD investigations identify subgrain formation in the steel matrix as the dominant deformation mechanism.

The general equilibrium model: static or sterile? El modelo de equilibrio general: ¿estático o estéril?

open access: yesCuadernos de Economía, 1997
The Arrow-Debreu model is, of course, a static model; however, that is not its main weakness. This article tries to show that the<br />interpretation of Lozano, Villa, and Monsalve about the extent and the content of this model contains some errors

Prototype Specification for a Real Computable General Equilibrium Model [PDF]

open access: yes
This document presents a prototype specification for a real computable general equilibrium (CGE) model. The prototype has some key features for assessing structural and poverty impacts:computable general equilibrium ...

Influence of an Argon/Silane Atmosphere on the Temperature of a Thermal Plasma

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The influence of a silane‐doped argon atmosphere on the chemical composition and temperature of a thermal nontransferring argon plasma is investigated using optical emission spectroscopy. As a result of the high amount of free electrons resulting from the stepwise ionization and dissociation of the silane molecule, even a silane addition of 0.01 vol ...
