This paper presents a novel approach to reducing oxide layers on metal powders using low‐temperature hydrogen dielectric barrier discharge plasmas at atmospheric pressure. Unlike conventional hydrogen‐plasma reductions, the powders do not contact the plasma directly.

A model for Explaining Suppressed Consumption Volatility in Iran [PDF]
In the literature on business cycles, despite the fact that income volatility in emerging countries is lower than developed, consumption volatility is higher, which is known as the puzzle of excess consumption volatility over production.

Spillover Effects of Food Safety Incidents: Role of Consumers’ Heterogeneous Safety Preferences
This study considers consumers’ risk perceptions and safety preferences as external shock factors in food safety incidents. These factors are incorporated into a general equilibrium model defined by the food safety hierarchy, and the computational ...

GENERAL ECONOMIC EQUILIBRIUM MODELS
The article examines the possibilities and limitations of empirical models of general economic equilibrium and makes their classification. Computable general equilibrium models are divided into two groups: the first group is based on the equilibrium price model (G.

This study investigates how tramp elements from increased scrap usage influence phase transformations in low‐alloyed steel. Combining dilatometry and microscopy reveal that tramp elements delay transformations, reduce critical cooling rates and increase hardenability.

Smoothing the shocks of a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model [PDF]
In some ways, the recession of 2001 and the recovery that followed it were unique: During the recession, the contraction in measured output was driven almost entirely by a retrenchment in business capital spending while consumer spending and residential ...

Computable General Equilibrium Modeling - Numerical Simulations in a 2-Country Monetary General Equilibrium Model [PDF]
This paper presents the concept of numerical CGE modeling with the help of a 2-country general equilibrium model. In the framework of this simple dynamic monetary model the effects of a (unilateral) monetary and fiscal expansion are simulated. The exchange rate of the home vis-à-vis the foreign currency depreciates in response to both types of shocks ...

Surface Tension Measurement of Ti‐6Al‐4V by Falling Droplet Method in Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere
In this article, the temperature‐dependent surface tension of free falling, oscillating Ti‐6Al‐4V droplets is investigated in both argon and monosilane doped, oxygen‐free atmosphere. Droplet temperature and oscillation are captured with one single high‐speed camera, and the surface tension is calculated with Rayleigh's formula.

Steady state Laffer curve with the underground economy [PDF]
This paper studies equilibrium effects of fiscal policy within a dynamic general equilibrium model where tax evasion and underground activities are explicitly incorporated.
