Multi-helix beams generated with binary helico-conical phase patterns

Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2023
In this paper, we generate a type of double helico-conical beam (HCB) by binarizing the modified helico-conical phase (MHCP). The diffraction patterns of the double HCBs were analyzed theoretically and experimentally. The relative position of the double HCBs can be adjusted arbitrarily by introducing a blazed grating only.

bHLHDB: A next generation database of basic helix loop helix transcription factors based on deep learning model

Journal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, 2022
The basic helix loop helix (bHLH) superfamily is a large and diverse protein family that plays a role in various vital functions in nearly all animals and plants. The bHLH proteins form one of the largest families of transcription factors found in plants that act as homo- or heterodimers to regulate the expression of their target genes.

A general treatment of helix-coil equilibria in macromolecular systems

Journal of Molecular Biology, 1966
Statistical mechanical methods recently developed for treating the properties of linear chains are here applied to helix-coil equilibria in systems of single-strand (polypeptide) and double-strand (polynucleotide) helices. Chains of any finite length and copolymeric chains comprising units having different helix-forming tendencies can be treated ...
