Regularity in codimension one of orbit closures in module varieties

open access: yes, 2005
Let Md(k) denote the space of (d×d)-matrices with coefficients in an algebraically closed field k. Let X be an orbit closure in the product [Md(k)]t equipped with the action of the general linear group GLd(k) by simultaneous conjugation.

Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

TRIM: Simultaneous Thermometry, Ranging, and Imaging via a Monolithic Metalens

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT While metasurfaces offer a pathway beyond the discrete architectures of conventional LWIR systems, physically fusing high‐precision thermometry and passive ranging onto a single metalens remains a formidable challenge. Here, we demonstrate a monolithic, dual‐focus metalens capable of simultaneous multidimensional sensing.

Cálculo differencial no conmmutativo de algunas álgebras de tipo polinomial con bases PBW

open access: yes, 2020
In this work, we study the notion of differential calculus associated to an associative algebra, from its origin in manifolds geometry, to some generalizations in non commutative differential geometry.

Two‐Dimensional Flow and Thermal Energy Transfer in Non‐Newtonian Casson–Carreau Ternary Hybrid Nanofluids Over Stationary and Moving Wedge Surfaces With Radiation and Magnetic Field Effects

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Efficient thermal management in advanced industrial systems requires improved heat transfer performance, particularly under non‐Newtonian fluid behavior and complex surface geometries. This study investigates the two‐dimensional flow and heat transfer characteristics of ternary hybrid nanofluids over both stationary and moving wedge surfaces ...

Propiedades algebraicas de las simetrías cuánticas débiles

open access: yes, 2023
This thesis investigates the properties of weak bialgebras and weak Hopf algebras, their (co)representations, and applications in groupoids, path algebras, and Lie algebroids.

Stability of Viscous Three‐Dimensional Stratified Couette Flow via Dispersion and Mixing

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article explores the stability of stratified Couette flow in the viscous 3d$3d$ Boussinesq equations. In this system, mixing effects arise from the shearing background, and gravity acts as a restoring force leading to dispersive internal gravity waves.

Sustainability‐Oriented Collaborations in Green Energy Markets Formation: A Configurational Analysis of Alliance Management Capabilities and Relational View

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Sustainability‐oriented collaborations are inter‐organisational arrangements where the competencies of multiple companies are pooled together to tackle environmental challenges. These collaborations differ from traditional strategic alliances in that they tackle complex goals amidst greater uncertainties that extend beyond economic performance,

Zn Orbifolds of Vertex Operator Algebras

open access: yes, 2021
Given a vertex algebra V and a group of automorphisms of V, the invariant subalgebra VG is called an orbifold of V. This construction appeared first in physics and was also fundamental to the construction of the Moonshine module in the work of Borcherds.
