Roads as a system

open access: yesВестник СибАДИ, 2017
The article analyzes the advantages of the methodology of the system approach in the study, design, construction and operation of facilities. On the basis of the general theory of systems obtained generalized model of roads in the form of a set-sti basic

The family meetings in oncology: some practical guidelines

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2015
Somatic illness is not only an individual experience of physical and psychological suffering, but also a psychosocial status that modulates the patient’s interpersonal relationships. Receiving a diagnosis of cancer causes severe distress.

M-Theory as a Dynamical System Generator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
We review our recent work on ellipsoidal M2-brane solutions in the large-N limit of the BMN matrix model. These bosonic finite-energy membranes live inside SO(3)xSO(6) symmetric plane-wave spacetimes and correspond to local extrema of the energy functional. They are static in SO(3) and stationary in SO(6). Chaos appears at the level of radial stability

Explainability in Deep Learning in Healthcare and Medicine: Panacea or Pandora’s Box? A Systemic View

open access: yesAlgorithms
Explainability in deep learning (XDL) for healthcare is increasingly portrayed as essential for addressing the “black box” problem in clinical artificial intelligence.

Is Kaniadakis κ-generalized statistical mechanics general?

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2023
In this Letter we introduce some field-theoretic approach for computing the critical properties of systems undergoing continuous phase transitions governed by the κ-generalized statistics, namely κ-generalized statistical field theory.

A predictive analytics framework for South Africa’s land redistribution: assessing systematic predictive factors of agricultural productivity and equity

open access: yesFrontiers in Sustainable Food Systems
IntroductionSouth Africa’s land redistribution programme faces a productivity–equity dilemma: redistribution is constitutionally mandated, yet agricultural productivity stagnates while sectoral inequality persists.

Desafiando a interdisciplinaridade na ciência administrativa: o caso da entropia

open access: yesCadernos EBAPE.BR

Towards Multifractality through an Ernst-Type Potential in Complex Systems Dynamics

open access: yesEntropy, 2023
Some possible correspondences between the Scale Relativity Theory and the Space–Time Theory can be established. Since both the multifractal Schrödinger equation from the Scale Relativity Theory and the General Relativity equations for a gravitational ...

ON GENERALIZED POPOV THEORY FOR DELAY SYSTEMS [PDF]

open access: yesTheory and Practice of Control and Systems, 1999
Summary: This paper focuses on the Popov generalized theory for a class of some linear systems including discrete and distributed delays. Sufficient conditions for stabilizing such systems as well as for coerciveness of an appropriate quadratic cost are developed.

Floquet-like theory and gauge transformations for general smooth dynamical systems [PDF]

open access: yesOpen Communications in Nonlinear Mathematical Physics
The classical Floquet theory allows to map a time-periodic system of linear differential equations into an autonomous one. By looking at it in a geometrical way, we extend the theory to a class of non-autonomous non-periodic equations.
