On computing local monodromy and the numerical local irreducible decomposition

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 13, Issue 1, December 2026.
Abstract Similarly to the global case, the local structure of a holomorphic subvariety at a given point is described by its local irreducible decomposition. Geometrically, the key requirement for obtaining a local irreducible decomposition is to compute the local monodromy action of a generic linear projection at the given point, which is always well ...

On the additive image of zeroth persistent homology

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 13, Issue 1, December 2026.
Abstract For a category X$X$ and a finite field F$F$, we study the additive image of the functor H0(−;F)∗:rep(X,Top)→rep(X,VectF)$\operatorname{H}_0(-;F)_* \colon \operatorname{rep}(X, \mathbf {Top}) \rightarrow \operatorname{rep}(X, \mathbf {Vect}_F)$, or equivalently, of the free functor rep(X,Set)→rep(X,VectF)$\operatorname{rep}(X, \mathbf {Set ...

Semiquantum geometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
In this paper we study associative algebras with a Poisson algebra structure on the center acting by derivations on the rest of the algebra. These structures, which we call Poisson fibred algebras, appear in the study of quantum groups at roots of 1 and ...

Invariant Measure and Universality of the 2D Yang–Mills Langevin Dynamic

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 8, Page 1973-2102, August 2026.
ABSTRACT We prove that the Yang–Mills (YM) measure for the trivial principal bundle over the two‐dimensional torus, with any connected, compact structure group, is invariant for the associated renormalised Langevin dynamic. Our argument relies on a combination of regularity structures, lattice gauge‐fixing and Bourgain's method for invariant measures ...

Commutative Gelfand Theory for Real Banach Algebras: Representations as Sections of Bundles

open access: yes, 1992
We are concerned here with the development of a more general real case of the classical theorem of Gelfand ([5], 3.1.20), which represents a complex commutative unital Banach algebra as an algebra of continuous functions defined on a compact Hausdorff ...

Interior and closure operators on bounded residuated lattice ordered monoids [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
summary:$GMV$-algebras endowed with additive closure operators or with its duals-multiplicative interior operators (closure or interior $GMV$-algebras) were introduced as a non-commutative generalization of topological Boolean algebras. In the paper, the

On Beurling measure algebras [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
summary:We show how the measure theory of regular compacted-Borel measures defined on the $\delta$-ring of compacted-Borel subsets of a weighted locally compact group $(G,\omega)$ provides a compatible framework for defining the corresponding Beurling ...

Tate modules as condensed modules

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract We prove that the category of countable Tate modules over an arbitrary discrete ring embeds fully faithfully into that of condensed modules. If the base ring is of finite type, we characterize the essential image as generated by the free module of infinite countable rank under direct sums, duals and retracts.
