Validation of generator reactive capability

2003 IEEE Power Engineering Society General Meeting (IEEE Cat. No.03CH37491), 2004
Validation of reactive capability of synchronous generators has become a topic of much interest in the last few years. There has been limited growth in the U.S. transmission system compared to growth of load and new generation. Much of the new generation growth has been due to addition of wholesale or merchant generators competing for available ...

A New Generation of ADS Capabilities

Marine Technology Society Journal, 2013
AbstractThis paper presents a case study describing submerged work at Shaft 19 of the Delaware Aqueduct, which evolved to become the most complex atmospheric diving suit (ADS) project ever undertaken. The limitations imposed by existing atmospheric systems are considered along with very significant improvements in ADS capability now being developed ...

Generalization capability of neural networks

1992
The generalization capability of feedforward multilayer neural networks is investigated from two aspects: the theoretical aspect and the algorithmic aspect. In the theoretical part, a general relation is derived between the so-called VC-dimension and the statistical lower epsilon-capacity, and then applied to two cases.
