Dunkl generalization of q-Szász-Mirakjan Kantorovich operators which preserve some test functions
In this paper we introduce q-Szász-Mirakjan-Kantorovich operators generated by a Dunkl generalization of the exponential function and we propose two different modifications of the q-Szász-Mirakjan-Kantorovich operators which preserve some test functions.

Fatigue Crack Initiation and Growth in Nanocrystalline Ni at Multiple Length‐Scales
Overview of miniaturized in situ SEM fatigue setup and resultant fatigue crack growth data for nanocrystalline Ni. The presented study focuses on the analysis of fatigue crack growth rate (FCGR) in focused ion beam‐notched microcantilevers prepared from nanocrystalline (NC) Ni as a model material.

$*$-exponential of Slice Regular Functions [PDF]
As in [Entire slice regular functions, Springer, 2016] we define the ∗-exponential of a slice-regular function, which can be seen as a generalization of the complex exponential to quaternions.

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

Size Distributions for All Cities: Lognormal and q-exponential functions [PDF]
This paper analyses in detail the features offered by a function which is practically new to Urban Economics, the q-exponential, in describing city size distributions. We highlight two contributions.

Creep Properties and Deformation Mechanism of Additively Manufactured NiAl‐CrMo Composites
Additively manufactured NiAl‐CrMo composites contain numerous interfaces and cell boundaries that control their creep response. At 700°C under high applied stress, creep is dominated by dislocation‐controlled power‐law mechanisms. At 800°C–900°C and lower stresses, creep is primarily diffusion‐controlled along cell boundaries.

A novel workflow for investigating hydride vapor phase epitaxy for GaN bulk crystal growth is proposed. It combines Design of experiments (DoE) with physical simulations of mass transport and crystal growth kinetics, serving as an intermediate step between DoE and experiments.

Inequalities for Entire Functions of Exponential Type [PDF]
Bernstein's inequality says that if f is an entire function of exponential type τ which is bounded on the real axis thenGenchev has proved that if, in addition, hf (π/2) ≤0, where hf is the indicator function of f, thenUsing a method of approximation due

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Pulse-rate exponential function generator
An exponential function generator is described, which uses pulse-rate signals, but produces a digital-code output signal. This circuit is a development of a well known circuit, and appears to be novel.
