A Parametric Generalization of the Baskakov-Schurer-Szász-Stancu Approximation Operators

open access: yesSymmetry, 2021
In this paper, we introduce and investigate a new class of the parametric generalization of the Baskakov-Schurer-Szász-Stancu operators, which considerably extends the well-known class of the classical Baskakov-Schurer-Szász-Stancu approximation ...

Dunkl generalization of Szász operators via q-calculus

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2015
We construct the linear positive operators generated by the q-Dunkl generalization of the exponential function. We have approximation properties of the operators via a universal Korovkin-type theorem and a weighted Korovkin-type theorem.

Generalized B-Opers [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2020
Opers were introduced by Beilinson-Drinfeld [arXiv:math.AG/0501398]. In [J. Math. Pures Appl. 82 (2003), 1-42] a higher rank analog was considered, where the successive quotients of the oper filtration are allowed to have higher rank. We dedicate this paper to introducing and studying generalized $B$-opers (where "$B$" stands for "bilinear"), obtained ...

Generalized Lam Operators [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 2003
We introduce a class of multidimensional Schr dinger operators with elliptic potential which generalize the classical Lam operator to higher dimensions. One natural example is the Calogero--Moser operator, others are related to the root systems and their deformations. We conjecture that these operators are algebraically integrable, which is a proper

Learning nonlinear operators via DeepONet based on the universal approximation theorem of operators [PDF]

open access: yesNature Machine Intelligence, 2019
It is widely known that neural networks (NNs) are universal approximators of continuous functions. However, a less known but powerful result is that a NN with a single hidden layer can accurately approximate any nonlinear continuous operator.

Discovering generalized design knowledge using a multi-objective evolutionary algorithm with generalization operators

open access: yesExpert systems with applications, 2020
The early-phase design of complex systems is a challenging task, as a decision maker has to take into account the intricate relationships among different design variables. A popular way to help decision makers easily identify important design features is

On the influence of over-parameterization in manifold based surrogates and deep neural operators [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Computational Physics, 2022
Constructing accurate and generalizable approximators for complex physico-chemical processes exhibiting highly non-smooth dynamics is challenging. In this work, we propose new developments and perform comparisons for two promising approaches: manifold ...
