Feedback regulation of VISTA and Treg by TNF‐α controls T cell responses in drug allergy
TNF‐α breaks immune tolerance by regulating the VISTA at early stage of the drug‐specific T cell response. The response of drug‐responsive effector T cells was negative feedback regulated by increasing Treg cells. This indicates that Treg agonists, rather than TNF‐α antagonists, could be used to treat patients with progressive SCARs. Abbreviations: HLA,

Generalized Bullous Fixed Drug Eruption after Influenza Vaccination, Simulating Bullous Pemphigoid
A 90-year-old woman was seen with a generalized bullous eruption. She did not remember suŒering from similar lesions previously. She had hypertension treated for more than one year with hydrochlorothiazide and valsartan (Co-diovanâ ). Six weeks before the start of cutaneous lesions, nimodipine (Nimotopâ ) and ginko biloba (Tanakeneâ ) had been added to

Fixed drug eruption (FDE) is characterized by solitary erythematous macules, edematous plaques and bullous lesions that occur at the same place with recurrent exposure to a drug. Though more than 100 drugs have been implicated in leading to FDE, this side effect is more commonly caused by tetracyclines, sulfonamides, sulfone, penicillins, pyrazolones ...
