Invexity and generalized convexity

Optimization, 1991
Let f be a real differentiate function defined on the open subset A of R n;f is said to be invex if the following inequality is satisfied for a suitable function η The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between invexity and generalized convexity; moreover, we shall give necessary and sufficient conditions for a differentiable ...

Generalized Rectangular Convexity

Acta Mathematica Sinica, English Series, 2023
In this paper, the authors investigate two particular convexities, namely the \(tr\)-convexity and the rectangular biconvexity in Euclidean spaces. The authors investigate another generalization of rectangular convexity, by taking the family of all thin rectangles, thus obtaining the thin rectangular convexity and name it as \(tr\)-convex sets.

Generalized convex kernels

Israel Journal of Mathematics, 1964
The notion of the convex kernel of a setD is generalized to that of then-th order kernel ofD. Such kernels are studied for compact, simply connected subsets of the Euclidean plane. In particular, it is shown that under certain circumstances [see Theorem 4 and also section 5], these kernels have rather simple structures.

Generalized convexity and generalized monotonocity

Journal of Information and Optimization Sciences, 1999
Abstract General definitions of monotonocity, quasimonotonocity, pseudomonotonocity and strong monotonocity of a vector valued function defined on a subset of an n-dimensional Euclidean space are given. Some properties and characterizations are studied in the genera] setting.
