Kaluza’s theory in generalized coordinates [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2001
Maxwell’s equations can be obtained in generalized coordinates by considering the electromagnetic field as an external agent. The work presented here shows how to obtain the electrodynamics for a charged particle in generalized coordinates eliminating the concept of external force.

The Gergonne point generalized through convex coordinates

open access: goldInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1999
The Gergonne point of a triangle is the point at which the three cevians to the points of tangency between the incircle and the sides of the triangle are concurrent.

Visual Generalized Coordinates [PDF]

open access: green, 2015
An open problem in robotics is that of using vision to identify a robot's own body and the world around it. Many models attempt to recover the traditional C-space parameters. Instead, we propose an alternative C-space by deriving generalized coordinates from $n$ images of the robot. We show that the space of such images is bijective to the motion space,

Some Hermite-Hadamard Inequalities via Generalized Fractional Integral on the Interval-Valued Coordinates

open access: goldInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2022
In this paper, we established the Hermite-Hadamard inequalities via generalized fractional. Meanwhile, interval analysis is a particular case of set-interval analysis.

The Averaged Hydrostatic Boussinesq Ocean Equations in Generalized Vertical Coordinates

open access: goldJournal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems
Due to their limited resolution, numerical ocean models need to be interpreted as representing filtered or averaged equations. How to interpret models in terms of formally averaged equations, however, is not always clear, particularly in the case of ...

Matrix Equations of the Motion of Multibody Systems with a Tree Structure in Hamiltonian Variables [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied and Computational Mechanics, 2023
The paper develops the methods for computer simulation of the dynamics of absolutely rigid body systems with a tree structure. The equations of motion are presented in compact matrix form. The case of holonomic constraints is also considered.

On construction of a field of forces along given trajectories in the presence of random perturbations

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2021
In this paper, a force field is constructed along a given integral manifold in the presence of random perturbing forces. In this case, two types of integral manifolds are considered separately: 1) trajectories that depend on generalized coordinates and ...

Exploring Energy in the Direct Correction Method for Correcting Geometric Constraint Violations

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
The direct correction method is widely used for eliminating geometric constraint violations. This method involves iteratively adjusting the generalized coordinates, which are assumed to be consistent and remain so during the velocity-level corrections ...

Two-dimensional mesh generator and quality analysis of elements on the curvilinear coordinates system

open access: yesSemina: Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas, 2021
Through mathematical models, it is possible to turn a problem of the physical domain to the computational domain. In this context, the paper presents a two-dimensional mesh generator in generalized coordinates, which uses the parametric linear spline ...
