The generalized Drazin inverse of the sum in a Banach algebra [PDF]
In this article, we obtain new additive results on the generalized Drazin inverse of a sum of two elements in a Banach algebra. Applying these additive results, we also give explicit formulas for the generalized Drazin inverse of a block matrix in a Banach algebra.

Drazin inverse and generalization of core-nilpotent decomposition
Journal of Algebra and Its Applications, 2022The Drazin inverse is connected with the notion of index and core-nilpotent decomposition whenever it is discussed in the context of ring of matrices over complex field. In the absence of Drazin inverse for a given element from an arbitrary associative ring (not necessarily with unity), in this paper, the notion of right (left) core-nilpotent ...

Error bounds for a general perturbation of the Drazin inverse
Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2002The main result of this paper presents a bound for the norm of the difference of two Drazin inverses. This bound is found by means of the distance between their eigenprojections. This result extends some well-known results.

DFT calculation of the generalized and Drazin inverse of a polynomial matrix
Proceedings. IEEE International Symposium on Computer Aided Control System Design, 2003The authors present two new algorithms for the computation of the generalized inverze and Drazin inverse of a polynomial matrix. The proposed algorithms are based on the discrete Fourier transform (DFT). The implementation of these algorithms in the Mathematica programming language are briefly described. The whole theory is illustrated via examples.

The σg-Drazin Inverse and the Generalized Mbekhta Decomposition
Integral Equations and Operator Theory, 2006In this paper we define and study an extension of the g-Drazin for elements of a Banach algebra and for bounded linear operators based on an isolated spectral set rather than on an isolated spectral point. We investigate salient properties of the new inverse and its continuity, and illustrate its usefulness with an application to differential equations.
