3D simulation of laminated shell structures using the Proper Generalized Decomposition [PDF]
Numerical simulations of composite structures are generally performed using multi-layered shell elements in the context of the finite elements method. This strategy has numerous advantages like a low computation time and the capability to reproduce the ...

Generalizations of the wave equation [PDF]
The main result of this paper is a generalization of the property that, for smooth u u , u x y = 0 {u_{xy}} = 0 implies ( ∗ ) (\ast ) \[ u ( x

Recursive properties of generalized ordinary differential equations and applications
The aim of this paper is to obtain results on topological properties of flows for nonnegative time in the framework of generalized ODEs. We define the concept of generalized semiflow and we present some recursive properties as minimality and recurrence ...

Generalized spin precession equations
The Bloch equations, which describe spin precession and relaxation in external magnetic fields, can be generalized to include the evolution of polarization tensors of various ranks in arbitrary multipole fields.

Weak dual generalized inverse of a dual matrix and its applications
Recently, the dual Moore-Penrose generalized inverse has been applied to study the linear dual equation when the dual Moore-Penrose generalized inverse of the coefficient matrix of the linear dual equation exists.

Generalized Neutrino Equations [PDF]
I discuss generalized spin-1/2 equations for neutrinos. They have been obtained by means of the Gersten's method for derivation of arbitrary-spin relativistic equations. Possible physical consequences are discussed.

Schlafli modular equations for generalized Weber functions [PDF]
Sets of appropriately normalized eta quotients, that we call level n Weber functions, are defined, and certain identities generalizing Weber function identities are proved for these functions.

A modified Newton-secant method for solving nonsmooth generalized equations
In this paper, we study the solvability of nonsmooth generalized equations in Banach spaces using a modified Newton-secant method, by assuming a Hölder condition.

On Generalized Lebesgue-Ramanujan-Nagell Equations
We give a brief survey on some classical and recent results concerning the generalized Lebesgue-Ramanujan-Nagell equation. Moreover, we solve completely the equation x2 + 11a 17b = yn in nonnegative integer unknowns with n ≧ 3 and gcd(x, y) = 1.

ON A GENERALIZED TZITZEICA EQUATION [PDF]
Summary: Extending the so called coupled KP hierarchy to negative time flows one obtains coupled Toda-type equations defined on a two-dimensional lattice. These equations allow for reductions to \(1+1\) dimensional integrable systems that are defined on a finite part of this lattice.
