Mechanisms of De‐icing by Surface Rayleigh and Plate Lamb Acoustic Waves
Ice accretion impacts daily life, renewable energy generation, maintenance, and security in industries and aeronautics. Acoustic waves (AW) are a promising method for ice removal, although de‐icing mechanisms require further investigation to optimize energy efficiency.

Selection of working correlation structure in generalized estimating equations
The well‐known generalized estimating equations is a very popular approach for analyzing longitudinal data. Selecting an appropriate correlation structure in the generalized estimating equations framework is a key step for estimating parameters efficiently and deriving reliable statistical inferences.

In this study, the mechanical response of Y‐shaped core sandwich beams under compressive loading is investigated, using deep feed‐forward neural networks (DFNNs) for predictive modeling. The DFNN model accurately captures stress–strain behavior, influenced by design parameters and loading rates.

Asymptotic Results with Generalized Estimating Equations for Longitudinal data II [PDF]
We consider the marginal models of Liang and Zeger (1986) for the analysis of longitudinal data and we develop a theory of statistical inference for such models.
