Some New Generalized Retarded Gronwall-Like Inequalities and Their Applications in Nonlinear Systems [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Control Science and Engineering, 2016
The Gronwall inequalities are of significance in mathematics and engineering. This paper generalizes the Gronwall-like inequalities from different perspectives. Using the proposed inequalities, the difficulties to discuss the controllability of integrodifferential systems of mixed type can be solved.

Sharp commutator estimates of all order for Coulomb and Riesz modulated energies

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 2, Page 207-292, February 2026.
Abstract We prove functional inequalities in any dimension controlling the iterated derivatives along a transport of the Coulomb or super‐Coulomb Riesz modulated energy in terms of the modulated energy itself. This modulated energy was introduced by the second author and collaborators in the study of mean‐field limits and statistical mechanics of ...

Well‐Posedness and Pattern Formation in a Two‐Species Reaction–Diffusion System with Nonlocal Perception

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, Volume 156, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Nonlocal perceptual cues, such as visual, auditory, and olfactory signals, profoundly influence animal movement and the emergence of ecological patterns. To capture these effects, we introduce a two‐species reaction–diffusion system with mutual nonlocal perception on a two‐dimensional periodic domain.

Some Generalized Gronwall-Bellman Type Impulsive Integral Inequalities and Their Applications [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
This paper investigates some generalized Gronwall-Bellman type impulsive integral inequalities containing integration on infinite intervals. Some new results are obtained, which generalize some existing conclusions. Our result is also applied to study a boundary value problem of differential equations with impulsive terms.

Numerical Analysis of a Benjamin–Bona–Mahony Type Equation in a Noncylindrical Domain

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 2, Page 818-834, 30 January 2026.
ABSTRACT Numerical analysis and simulation for the approximate solution of a Benjamin–Bona–Mahony type equation defined in a noncylindrical domain are presented in this article. The approximate problem is defined using the linearized Crank–Nicolson Galerkin method, which results in a linear algebraic system at each time step while maintaining quadratic

Existence and stabilizability of steady-state for semilinear pulse-width sampler controlled system [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2011
In this paper, we study the steady-state of a semilinear pulse-width sampler controlled system on infinite dimensional spaces. Firstly, by virtue of Schauder's fixed point theorem, the existence of periodic solutions is given.

Ulam‐type stability of ψ− Hilfer fractional‐order integro‐differential equations with multiple variable delays

open access: yesAsian Journal of Control, Volume 28, Issue 1, Page 34-45, January 2026.
Abstract We study a nonlinear ψ−$$ \psi - $$ Hilfer fractional‐order delay integro‐differential equation ( ψ−$$ \psi - $$ Hilfer FrODIDE) that incorporates N−$$ N- $$ multiple variable time delays. Utilizing the ψ−$$ \psi - $$ Hilfer fractional derivative ( ψ−$$ \psi - $$ Hilfer‐FrD), we investigate the Ulam–Hyers––Rassias (U–H–R), semi‐Ulam–Hyers ...

On the theory of fractional terminal value problem with ψ-Hilfer fractional derivative

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2020
In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions of a new class of boundary value problems of terminal type for ψ-Hilfer fractional differential equations. The technique used in the analysis relies on the Banach contraction principle and

A priori estimates and large population limits for some nonsymmetric Nash systems with semimonotonicity

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 1, Page 3-88, January 2026.
Abstract We address the problem of regularity of solutions ui(t,x1,…,xN)$u^i(t, x^1, \ldots, x^N)$ to a family of semilinear parabolic systems of N$N$ equations, which describe closed‐loop equilibria of some N$N$‐player differential games with Lagrangian having quadratic behaviour in the velocity variable, running costs fi(x)$f^i(x)$ and final costs gi(

Singular limit of an integrodifferential system related to the entropy balance

open access: yes, 2014
A thermodynamic model describing phase transitions with thermal memory, in terms of an entropy equation and a momentum balance for the microforces, is adressed. Convergence results and error estimates are proved for the related integrodifferential system
