The Investigation of Some Essential Concepts of Extended Fuzzy‐Valued Convex Functions and Their Applications

open access: yesAdvances in Fuzzy Systems, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
In this paper, we are thus motivated to define and introduce the extended fuzzy‐valued convex functions that can take the singleton fuzzy values −∞˜ and +∞˜ at some points. Such functions can be characterized using the notions of effective domain and epigraph.

Interval-valued analysis of fractional analogues of linear Volterra integro-differential equations

open access: yesMathematical and Computer Modelling of Dynamical Systems
This study invokes the interval valued analysis of factional order linear Volterra integro-differential equations in Riemann Liouville senses. To validate the presented results, particular cases are discussed with graphical illustrations.

Usage of the Fuzzy Adomian Decomposition Method for Solving Some Fuzzy Fractional Partial Differential Equations

open access: yesAdvances in Fuzzy Systems, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
In this study, we examine the numerical solutions of nonlinear fuzzy fractional partial differential equations under the Caputo derivative utilizing the technique of fuzzy Adomian decomposition. This technique is used as an alternative method for obtaining approximate fuzzy solutions to various types of fractional differential equations and also ...

On a multivalued second order differential problem with Hukuhara derivative [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Let \(K\) be a closed convex cone with the nonempty interior in a real Banach space and let \(cc(K)\) denote the family of all nonempty convex compact subsets of \(K\). Assume that continuous linear multifunctions \(H,\Psi : K \to cc(K)\) are given.

A comparison index for interval ordering based on generalized Hukuhara difference [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Interval methods is one option for managing uncertainty in optimization problems and in decision management. The precise numerical estimation of coefficients may be meaningless in real-world applications, because data sources are often uncertain, vague ...

Some New Variants of Hermite–Hadamard and Fejér‐Type Inequalities for Godunova–Levin Preinvex Class of Interval‐Valued Functions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
The theory of inequalities is greatly influenced by interval‐valued concepts, and this contribution is explored from several perspectives and domains. The aim of this note is to develop several mathematical inequalities such as Hermite–Hadamard, Fejér, and the product version based on center radius CR‐order relations.

Hestenes–Stiefel-Type Conjugate Direction Algorithm for Interval-Valued Multiobjective Optimization Problems

open access: yesAlgorithms
This article investigates a class of interval-valued multiobjective optimization problems (IVMOPs). We define the Hestenes–Stiefel (HS)-type direction for the objective function of IVMOPs and establish that it has a descent property at noncritical points.

Quantum symmetric analysis of interval-valued mappings based on generalized Hukuhara differences

open access: yes
The primary aim of this investigation is to examine the quantum symmetric differentiability and anti-derivative charac-teristics of interval-valued (I.V.) mappings utilizing generalized Hukuhara differences. Initially, we present the concepts of the I.V.

Finite-Difference Schemes for Interval Advection Equations Within a New Interval-Calculus Framework

open access: yesAxioms
This paper focuses on three finite difference schemes for the interval advection equation based on a novel interval calculus framework. Different from classical interval arithmetic, this innovative framework equips the interval number space with a ...
