All idempotent and regular elements in the monoid of generalized hypersubstitutions for algebraic systems of type (2; 2)

Asian-European Journal of Mathematics, 2019
There are two different concepts for hypersubstitutions for algebraic systems [K. Denecke and D. Phusanga, Hyperformulas and solid algebraic systems, Studia Logica 90(2) (2008) 263–286; J. Koppitz and D. Phusanga, The monoid of hypersubstitutions for algebraic systems, J. Announcements Union Sci. Sliven 33(1) (2018) 120–127].

All idempotent hypersubstitutions of type (2,2)

open access: yesSemigroup Forum, 2008
A hypersubstitution of type ( 2, 2) is a map sigma which takes the binary operation symbols f and g to binary terms s( f) and s(g). Any such s can be inductively extended to a map (sigma) over cap s on the set of all terms of type (2, 2).

The semantical kernel of a generalized hypersubstitution

2003
Created seemingly for its own sake by the authors [``Generalized hypersubstitutions and strongly solid varieties'', Proceedings of the 59th workshop on general algebra, Potsdam, Germany, 2000 (2000)], the notion of generalized hypersubstitution is considered with regard to associated Galois connections and possible (albeit dubitable) interpretations in

Tree transformations defined by generalized hypersubstitutions

2003
Let \(W_\tau(X)\) be the set of all \(\tau\)-terms with variables in \(X\), where \(\tau\) is a type of algebras and \(X\) is a countably infinite set of variables. A generalized hypersubstitution assigns a term \(\sigma(f)\in W_\tau(X)\) to each function symbol \(f\) in \(\tau\), and is then extended in a natural way to a mapping \(\widehat\sigma: W_ ...
