Evaluating AT,S(2)A_{T,S}^{\left( 2 \right)} Matrix Inverses from full-rank Singular Value Decomposition

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica
Based on the compact SVD decomposition of the full rank of a predetermined matrix M, a method for calculating the inverses AT,S(2)A_{T,S}^{\left( 2 \right)} of matrix A is derived. As a consequence, the advantages of compact single value decompositions

Transient Charging of Mixed Ionic‐Electronic Conductors by Anomalous Diffusion

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This article explores charge transport in mixed ionic‐electronic conductors (MIECs) through electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and transient current analysis. Focusing on PEDOT:PSS, WO3, and n‐doped PBDF, it uncovers the impact of anomalous diffusion via fractional modeling. The study reveals key correlations that deepen understanding and guide the

The Lehmer matrix with recursive factorial entries

open access: yesKuwait Journal of Science, 2015
A generalized Lehmer matrix with recursive entries from Kılıç et al. (2010b) is furthergeneralized, introducing three additional parameters and taking recursive factorials instead ofa term.

Generalized inverses and solutions of linear systems

open access: yes, 1968
For an arbitrary complex matrix A we consider (1) the set of all matrices B such that ABA=A and AB is Hermitian and (2) the set of all matrices B such that ABA= A and BA is Hermitian.

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Matrices with doubly signed generalized inverses

open access: yes, 2002
A real matrix A is said to have a signed generalized inverse, if the sign pattern of its generalized inverse A+ is uniquely determined by the sign pattern of A.

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Evidence for Itinerant Ferromagnetic Flat Bands Producing Large Transverse Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Itinerant ferromagnetic flat bands are demonstrated in GdCo5 with a high Curie temperature of 940K, a stacked honeycomb–kagome lattice, through angle‐resolved photoemission spectroscopy and magneto‐thermoelectric measurements. These topological flat bands generate large Berry curvaturte, producing gigantic anomalous Nernst effect with record‐high ...

Topology and Material Optimization in Ultra‐Soft Magneto‐Active Structures: Making Advantage of Residual Anisotropies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Residual magnetization induces pronounced mechanical anisotropy in ultra‐soft magnetorheological elastomers, shaping deformation and actuation even without external magnetic fields. This study introduces a computational‐experimental framework integrating magneto‐mechanical coupling into topology optimization for designing soft magnetic actuators with ...
