A Comparative Review of Specification Tests for Diffusion Models

open access: yesInternational Statistical Review, EarlyView.
Summary Diffusion models play an essential role in modelling continuous‐time stochastic processes in the financial field. Therefore, several proposals have been developed in the last decades to test the specification of stochastic differential equations.

Omnibus goodness‐of‐fit tests for univariate continuous distributions based on trigonometric moments

open access: yesStatistica Neerlandica, Volume 80, Issue 2, May 2026.
ABSTRACT We propose a new omnibus goodness‐of‐fit test based on trigonometric moments of probability‐integral‐transformed data. The test builds on the framework of the LK test introduced by Langholz and Kronmal [J. Amer. Statist. Assoc. 86 (1991), 1077–1084], but fully exploits the covariance structure of the associated trigonometric statistics.

Analysis of statistical resolution limit based on Rao test

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2017
Since the approach of analyzing statistical resolution limit (SRL) based on generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) has the problems of high computational complexity and isn’t easy to get the analytical formula of the detection statistics,a method for ...

A Multistage Rotor Imbalance Diagnosis Method for Horizontal‐Axis Wind Turbines Based on an Expert System and Improved Convolutional Neural Networks

open access: yesIET Cyber-Physical Systems: Theory &Applications, Volume 11, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
An integrated identification and estimation framework for full‐dimension rotor imbalance in wind turbines is proposed, combining an expert system with deep learning to realise imbalance detection, magnitude estimation and angular positioning under varying wind conditions.

Detection of Unknown Radar Pulses Using Spiking Neural Networks

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This article proposes to use spiking neural networks (SNNs) to detect multiple pulses in observation windows from a superheterodyne receiver. The method is described from encoding to postprocessing. New metrics are introduced to compare the proposed detection method to the energy detector (ED), to a detection based on difference Of boxes (DOB) filters ...

MIMO Radar Detection Algorithms With Location Capabilities for Heterogeneous Environments

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The design of adaptive detection and localisation algorithms in the context of MIMO radars is still an untraveled research route. In this paper, we present new decision schemes for MIMO radars capable of estimating, as a byproduct, the scatterer positions within the range‐Doppler bin under test and that can operate in both homogeneous and heterogeneous

GNSS Spoofing Detection Based on Ionospheric Model Deviation Monitoring

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The deviation of TEC (DTEC) consistency between DF measurements and empirical model estimations in authentic scenarios is not zero but is predictable through ionospheric annual periodicity. However, DF spoofers typically struggle to accurately counterfeit the authentic TEC value, which can disrupt the consistency between DTEC measurements and ...

An Improved GLRT Method for Target Detection in SAR Imagery

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2015
Automatic ground vehicle detection based on SAR imagery is one of the important military applications of SAR. A region-based generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) method is proposed in this paper, and this method combines the GLRT detection theory and

Detection of Unresolved Targets for Wideband Monopulse Radar

open access: yesSensors, 2019
Detecting unresolved targets is very important for radars in their target tracking phase. For wideband radars, the unresolved target detection algorithm should be fast and adaptive to different bandwidths.

Complementary Fusion of Motion‐Model and Data‐Extrapolation Strategies for Improved Angle Estimation in Shipborne HFSWR

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Shipborne HFSWR has limited array aperture reducing DOA estimation accuracy. The proposed CFMDS method fuses motion‐model‐based and data‐extrapolation‐based strategies to enlarge the virtual aperture. Results show improved angle estimation performance compared to single‐strategy methods.
