Kuga–Satake Construction on Families of K3 Surfaces of Picard Rank 14

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, Volume 299, Issue 8, Page 1894-1916, August 2026.
ABSTRACT The isometry between the type IV6 and the type II4 hermitian symmetric domains suggests a possible relation between suitable moduli spaces of K3 surfaces of Picard rank 14 and of polarized abelian 8‐folds with totally definite quaternion multiplication. We show how this isometry induces a geometrically meaningful map between such moduli spaces

A trace–path integral formula over function fields

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 114, Issue 2, August 2026.
Abstract We show that an arithmetic path integral over the ℓ$\ell$‐torsion of a Jacobian J[ℓ]$J[\ell]$ is equal to the trace of the Frobenius action on a representation of the Heisenberg group H(J[ℓ])$H(J[\ell])$, up to an explicitly determined sign.

Matlis reflexive and generalized local cohomology modules [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
summary:Let $(R,\mathfrak m )$ be a complete local ring, $\mathfrak a $ an ideal of $R$ and $N$ and $L$ two Matlis reflexive $R$-modules with $\mathop{{\rm Supp}} (L)\subseteq V(\mathfrak a )$.

Weinstein neighborhood theorems for stratified subspaces

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 114, Issue 2, August 2026.
Abstract By analogy with Weinstein's neighborhood theorem, we prove a uniqueness result for symplectic neighborhoods of a large family of stratified subspaces. This result generalizes existing constructions, for example, in the search for exotic Lagrangians.

Heights on ‘hybrid orbits’ in Shimura varieties

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 133, Issue 2, August 2026.
Abstract We prove the ‘hybrid conjecture’ which is a common generalisation of the André–Oort conjecture and the André–Pink–Zannier conjecture, in the case of Shimura varieties of abelian type.

Recognising flag varieties and reductive groups

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 133, Issue 2, August 2026.
Abstract Fix a flat and projective morphism X→Σ$X\rightarrow \Sigma$ of schemes. We show, first, that any set of P1${\mathbb {P}}^1$‐fibrations on X$X$ defines a set of simple roots, a set of simple coroots and a Cartan matrix C$C$. Second, X$X$ is an étale F${\mathcal {F}}$‐bundle over some projective Σ$\Sigma$‐scheme, where F${\mathcal {F}}$ is the ...

Filter Regular Sequences and Generalized Local Cohomology Modules [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Society, 2014
Let $\frak a$, $\frak b$ be ideals of a commutative Noetherian ring $R$ and let $M$, $N$ be finite $R$-modules. The concept of an $\frak a$-filter grade of $\frak b$ on $M$ is introduced and several characterizations and properties of this notion are given.

Some properties of the Thom spectrum over loop suspension of complex projective space [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This note provides a reference for some properties of the Thom spectrum Mξ over ΩΣCP∞. Some of this material is used in recent work of Kitchloo and Morava.

Generalized Local Homology Modules of Complexes

open access: yesپژوهش‌های ریاضی, 2017
The theory of local homology modules was initiated by Matlis in 1974. It is a dual version of the theory of local cohomology modules. Mohammadi and Divaani-Aazar (2012) studied the connection between local homology and Gorenstein flat modules by using ...

Torsion pairs via the Ziegler spectrum

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 133, Issue 2, August 2026.
Abstract We establish a bijection between torsion pairs in the category of finite‐dimensional modules over a finite‐dimensional algebra A$A$ and pairs (Z,I)$(\mathcal {Z},\mathcal {I})$ formed by a closed rigid set Z$\mathcal {Z}$ in the Ziegler spectrum of A$A$ and a set I$\mathcal {I}$ of indecomposable injective A$A$‐modules. This is as an extension
