GENERALIZED CONE METRIC SPACES AND ORDERED SPACES

Far East Journal of Applied Mathematics, 2019
Summary: In this paper, we introduce a notion of generalized cone metric spaces and give some basic properties from the perspective of order theory. In particular, we show that every generalized cone metric space can be embedded in a partially ordered space so that convergence in the generalized cone metric space can be obtained from order convergence.

Generalized Metric Spaces

2016
The basic problem of the principle of mutual classifications of spaces and mappings is that, under which classes of mappings certain topological properties remain unchanged (see Question 2.0.6). One of the central topics of this chapter is to determine the given classes of generalized metric spaces are preserved by which kinds of mappings.

Generalized Metric Spaces

2014
We now turn to a concept introduced by A. Branciari. This class of spaces has received significant attention lately, although at this point it remains unclear whether the concept has any significant applications.

Generalized metric spaces: A survey

Journal of Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2015
This expository article gives a survey of the following generalizations of metric spaces: pseudometric spaces, quasi-metric spaces, semimetric spaces, metric spaces over graphs, \(b\)-metric spaces, vector-valued metric, in particular, cone metric spaces, 2-metric spaces, \(G\)-metric spaces, partially ordered metric spaces, modular and pseudomodular ...

TOPOLOGICAL STUDY OF GENERALIZED METRIC SPACES

JP Journal of Geometry and Topology, 2019
Summary: The class of generalized metric spaces is introduced. A fixed point theorem in this class is proved and some applications to probabilistic metric spaces are given. Some topological properties of generalized metric spaces are studied. We show that every generalized metric space is, naturally, a uniform space and moreover it is metrizable if the
