A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Minimum aberration designs of resolution III [PDF]
In this article we prove several important properties of 2^{k-p} minimum aberration (MA) designs with k>2, where n=2^{k-p} is the number of runs. We develop a simple method to build MA designs of resolution III. Furthermore, we introduce a simple relationship, based on product of polynomials, for computing their word-length patterns.

Neural Network Adaptive Control With Long Short‐Term Memory
ABSTRACT In this study, we propose a novel adaptive control architecture that provides dramatically better transient response performance compared to conventional adaptive control methods. This is accomplished by the synergistic employment of a traditional adaptive neural network (ANN) controller and a long short‐term memory (LSTM) network.

Computational aberration compensation by coded aperture-based correction of aberration obtained from Fourier ptychography (CACAO-FP) [PDF]
We report a novel generalized optical measurement system and computational approach to determine and correct aberrations in optical systems. We developed a computational imaging method capable of reconstructing an optical system's aberration by harnessing Fourier ptychography (FP) with no spatial coherence requirement.

The axolotl's remarkable regenerative abilities decline with age, the causes may include the numerous repetitive elements within its genome. This study uncovers how Ty3 retrotransposons and coexpression networks involving muscle and immune pathways respond to aging and regeneration, suggesting that transposons respond to physiological shifts and may ...

RhoA and Rac1 as Mechanotransduction Mediators in Colorectal Cancer
Analysing RhoA and Rac1 protein levels in Colorectal cancer (CRC) samples under mechanical strain highlights their potential as diagnostic markers. Monitoring their activity could offer valuable insights into how cancer spreads, paving the way for new approaches to better understand and diagnose colorectal cancer.

Mechanisms of De‐icing by Surface Rayleigh and Plate Lamb Acoustic Waves
Ice accretion impacts daily life, renewable energy generation, maintenance, and security in industries and aeronautics. Acoustic waves (AW) are a promising method for ice removal, although de‐icing mechanisms require further investigation to optimize energy efficiency.

Robust designs to model uncertainty with high estimation and prediction efficiency [PDF]
Alphabetic optimality criteria, such as the $D$, $A$, and $I$ criteria, require specifying a model to select optimal designs. They are not model free and the optimal designs selected by them are not robust to model uncertainty. Recently, many extensions of the $D$ and $A$ criteria have been proposed for selecting robust designs with high estimation ...
