Logarithmic Convexity of the One-Parameter Mean Values [PDF]
In this article, the logarithmic convexity of the one-parameter mean values J(r) and the monotonicity of the product J(r)J(−r) with r Є R are presented. Some more general results are established.

Duality for equilibrium problems under generalized monotonicity [PDF]
Duality is studied for an abstract equilibrium problem which includes, among others, optimization problems and variational inequality problems. Following different schemes, various duals are proposed and primal-dual relationships are established under ...

Generalization of Stolarsky Type Means
We generalize means of Stolarsky type and show the monotonicity of these generalized means.

Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

Absolute Moments of Generalized Hyperbolic Distributions and Approximate Scaling of Normal Inverse Gaussian Lévy-Processes [PDF]
Expressions for (absolute) moments of generalized hyperbolic (GH) and normal inverse Gaussian (NIG) laws are given in terms of moments of the corresponding symmetric laws.

Ion‐Reconfigurable “N”‐Shaped Antiambipolar Behavior in Organic Electrochemical Transistors
A unique N‐shaped negative differential transconductance (NDT) characteristics is demonstrated in single‐polymer organic electrochemical transistors through a sequential doping–redox–doping process driven by iodide ions. This redox‐driven mechanism enables low‐voltage, ion‐controlled reconfigurability and tunable current modulation, allowing seamless ...

Robustness and monotonicity properties of generalized correlation coefficients [PDF]
A new class of generalized correlation coefficients that contains the Pearson and Kendall statistics as special cases was defined by Chinchilli et al. (2005) and applied to the estimation of correlations coefficients within the context of 2×2 cross-over ...

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

The Relation between Monotonicity and Strategy-Proofness [PDF]
The Muller-Satterthwaite Theorem (Muller and Satterthwaite, 1977) establishes the equivalence between Maskin monotonicity and strategy-proofness, two cornerstone conditions for the decentralization of social choice rules. We consider a general model that

New generalizations of Popoviciu-type inequalities via new Green’s functions and Montgomery identity
The inequality of Popoviciu, which was improved by Vasić and Stanković (Math. Balk. 6:281-288, 1976), is generalized by using new identities involving new Green’s functions.
