Saffman-Taylor instability for generalized Newtonian fluids

We study theoretically the linear Saffman-Taylor instability for non-Newtonian fluids in a Hele-Shaw cell. After introducing the notion of generalized Newtonian fluid we calculate the associated Darcy's law.
