Overview of the holistic engineering lifecycle and core research pillars for wind turbine blades. ABSTRACT This paper reviews recent advancements across the lifecycle of wind turbine blades, focusing on three interconnected areas: advanced composites, structural optimization, and machine learning (ML) diagnostics. In materials, we highlight progress in

ABSTRACT We propose a practical procedure to quantify the time varying influence of parameters on hazard functions for power series compounded lifetime models. The procedure combines likelihood based fitting with a two stage sensitivity analysis and applies to a range of baselines and compounding laws.

ABSTRACT Climate‐smart agriculture (CSA) is widely promoted to enhance resilience and productivity among smallholder farmers, yet its diffusion remains uneven due to structural barriers and heterogeneous adoption contexts. Existing forecasting tools, such as the Adoption and Diffusion Outcome Prediction Tool (ADOPT), estimate adoption trajectories but ...

Adding Realism to Theories of Taxpayer Compliance
ABSTRACT Explaining why people pay taxes has not been a central focus in the many important contributions of Jim Cox. Even so, I argue here that his work has greatly affected the way that we think about taxpayer compliance, by adding both directly and indirectly much needed realism to the theories and the applications of compliance. These contributions

Investigation of Microscopic Nonmetallic Inclusions in Powder Metallurgical High‐Speed Steels
Methods for inclusion analysis are evaluated for suitability. Various powder metallurgical steels in different processing states are characterized. SEM/EDS data are further analyzed using analytical and statistical approaches. A thermodynamic method for determining inclusion phase composition is tested.
