eQTL Meta‐Analysis Reveals Conserved and Population‐Specific Regulatory Variation Underlying Nutritional Trait Evolution and Domestication in Tomato

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A comprehensive meta‐analysis of expression quantitative trait loci (eQTLs) across five diverse tomato populations reveals a high‐resolution atlas of transcriptional regulation and uncovers conserved and population‐specific regulatory architectures underlying fruit nutritional quality traits, including flavonoids, sugars, organic acids, carotenoids ...

Generalized empirical likelihood tests in time series models with potential identification failure [PDF]

open access: yes
We introduce test statistics based on generalized empirical likelihood methods that can be used to test simple hypotheses involving the unknown parameter vector in moment condition time series models.

Tumor‐Derived LAMB3 Drives Immunosuppressive LRRC15+ Fibroblast Formation During Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A single‐cell atlas of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma development reveals progressive ductal‐fibroblast‐immune crosstalk. Tumor‐derived LAMB3 drives the formation of immunosuppressive LRRC15+ fibroblasts through the ITGB1/FAK/MAPK/FOSL2 signaling. Glycolytic reprogramming upregulates LAMB3 and correlates with LRRC15+ fibroblast enrichment.

Expansions of GMM statistics that indicate their properties under weak and/or many instruments and the bootstrap [PDF]

open access: yes
We construct higher order expressions for Wald and Lagrange multiplier (LM) GMM statistics that are based on 2step and continuous updating estimators (CUE).

TSPYL5 Promotes Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Metastasis by Antagonizing USP10‐Mediated PTEN Stabilization to Unleash a ZEB1‐Dependent EMT Program

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The hyperactivation of PI3K/AKT signaling in PTEN wild‐type triple‐negative breast cancer represents a clinical paradox. We delineate a novel post‐translational regulatory axis wherein the oncogene TSPYL5 competitively antagonizes the deubiquitinase USP10.

Inference for high-dimensional sparse econometric models [PDF]

open access: yes
This article is about estimation and inference methods for high dimensional sparse (HDS) regression models in econometrics. High dimensional sparse models arise in situations where many regressors (or series terms) are available and the regression ...

Adult Sex Ratio as a Demographic Feedback Linking Mating Systems, Parental Care, and Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Breeding systems are some of the most diverse social behavior, and our team is investigation the evolutionary causes of this diversity. This review summarises our research carried out at the University of Bath. We argue that demographic components of wild populations, especially the adult sex ratio, plays a key role driving breeding system variation ...
