Bayesian Generalized Poisson Regression Modeling for Overdispersed Maternal Mortality Data
Maternal mortality is a global health issue that reflects disparities in access to and the quality of healthcare services. This study applies the Bayesian Generalized Poisson Regression (BGPR) approach to address the problem of overdispersion in the data, which renders the standard Poisson regression model less appropriate.

Correlative species distribution models (SDMs) are quantitative tools in biogeography and macroecology. Building upon the ecological niche concept, they correlate environmental covariates to species presence to model habitat suitability and predict species distributions.

Despite efforts by the government of Tanzania to address the accessibility of maternal healthcare services, there are evident differences between and within regions in the utilization of antenatal care (ANC) services.

Invasive freshwater bivalves harm native species, ecosystems and biodiversity, and incur economic costs. The enemy release hypothesis posits that invasive species are released from enemies during the invasion process, giving them a competitive advantage in the new environment.

Robust inference for generalized linear models : binary and poisson regression
Generalized Linear Models have become a commonly used tool of data analysis. Such models are used to fit regressions for univariate responses with normal, gamma, binomial or Poisson distribution. Maximum likelihood is generally applied as fitting method.

Abstract Objective Antiseizure medications are approved based on clinical trials that demonstrate their efficacy as measured by reductions in seizure frequency (SF). When designing these trials, trialists must select inclusion criteria where SF can be reliably measured to maintain statistical power.

Continuous outcome estimation in N‐of‐1 trials for accelerated decision‐making
Abstract Objective N‐of‐1 trials aim to determine the therapeutic effect for a single individual. This individualized approach necessitates collecting multiple data points over time through repeated alternating periods of active treatment and a comparator or control condition.

Abstract Objective A strong bidirectional relationship exists between epilepsy and sleep, with seizures often occurring more frequently in sleep and, in turn, sleep being disrupted by seizures. However, the mechanistic basis of seizure–sleep interactions is poorly understood.

Abstract Objective Malformations of cortical development (MCDs) are a frequent cause of drug‐resistant epilepsy and a common indication for resective epilepsy surgery. As magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) lacks sensitivity for subtle MCDs, supplemental diagnostic tools are needed.
