Additive manufacturing provides precise control over the placement of continuous fibres within polymer matrices, enabling customised mechanical performance in composite components. This article explores processing strategies, mechanical testing, and modelling approaches for additive manufactured continuous fibre‐reinforced composites.

Let R be a ring, (M, ≤) a strictly ordered monoid and ω : M → <em>End</em>(R) a monoid homomorphism. The skew generalized power series ring R[[M; ω]] is a compact generalization of (skew) polynomial rings, (skew) power series rings, (skew ...

This study applies machine learning regression to predict chromium layer thickness in decorative trivalent chromium electroplating, using 441 experiments from laboratory‐scale (1L) and pilot‐scale (14L) setups. Tree‐based models, particularly CatBoost, outperformed linear regression by capturing nonlinear parameter interactions (R2$R^2$ up to 0.77 ...

Generalized Semicommutative Rings And Their Extensions
For an endomorphism a of a ring R., the endomorphism a is called semicommutative if ab = 0 implies a Ha(b) = 0 for a is an element of R. A ring R is called alpha-semicommulative if there exists a semicommutative endomorphism a of R.

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Semisimple Rings and Von Neumann Regular Rings of Generalized Power Series
Let \((S,+,\leq)\) be a strictly ordered monoid and let \(R\) be a ring. The author defines the ring of generalized power series \(A=[R^{S,\leq}]\), with coefficients in \(R\) and exponents in \(S\) as the set of all functions \(f\colon S\to R\) such that \(\text{supp}(f)\) is artinian and narrow. The following main theorem is proved. Let \(R\) contain

Generic fiber rings of mixed power series/polynomial rings
Let K be a field, m and n positive integers, and X = {x_1,...,x_n}, and Y = {y_1,..., y_m} sets of independent variables over K. Let A be the polynomial ring K[X] localized at (X). We prove that every prime ideal P in A^ = K[[X]] that is maximal with respect to P\cap A = (0) has height n-1. We consider the mixed power series/polynomial rings B := K[[X]]

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Ferroelectricity in Antiferromagnetic Wurtzite Nitrides
We establish MnSiN2${\rm MnSiN}_2$ and MnGeN2${\rm MnGeN}_2$ as aristotypes of a new multiferroic wurtzite family that simultaneously exhibits ferroelectricity and antiferromagnetism with altermagnetic spin splitting. By strategically substituting alkaline‐earth metals, we predict new materials with coexisting switchable polarization, spin texture, and

On Generalized Reed-Solomon Codes Over Commutative and Noncommutative Rings
International audienceIn this paper we study generalized Reed-Solomon codes (GRS codes) over commutative, noncommutative rings, show that the classical Welch-Berlekamp and Guruswami-Sudan decoding algorithms still hold in this context and we investigate ...
