Automated Spin‐Assisted Layer‐by‐Layer Epitaxy Produces Highly Oriented Mixed‐Linker MOF Thin Films

An automated spin‐assisted layer‐by‐layer growth method enables rapid fabrication of highly oriented Zn2BDC2DABCO metal‐organic framework thin films under ambient conditions. Correlative characterization confirms excellent reproducibility, uniform film formation, and exceptional out‐of‐plane orientation exceeding 85%.

AbstractFor each integer e > 2 a class of somewhat more than φ(e) pairwise non-isomorphic quadrangles is exhibited and shown to yield nonisomorphic (v, k, λ)-designs. The collineation groups of these quadrangles and designs are determined. Also a class of quadrangles with s = q − 1, t = q + l, q any prime power, is constructed.

Locking Ni Atoms in Ordered PtNi for Durable Hydrogen Production: From Electrocatalyst Design to Practical AEMWE Stack Validation

DFT‐guided atomic ordering of PtNi intermetallic catalysts enhances HER activity and durability by optimizing hydrogen adsorption and increasing dissolution potential. Experimental validation from half‐cell to practical AEMWE stack demonstrates outstanding performance with less than 2% degradation over 3,000 h.
