Pointvalue characterizations in multi-parameter algebras [PDF]

open access: yes
We extend classical results from the Colombeau algebra, concerning point-value characterizations of generalized functions, to the more general case of multi-parameter (C,E,P)–algebras. Our investigations include considerations about different definitions

Generalized solutions of boundary value problems ofdynamics of thermoelastic rods

open access: yes
We consider spatially one-dimensional boundary value problems of uncoupled thermoelasticity, which can be used to study various rod structures under thermal heating conditions. This model well describes thermodynamic processes at low strain rates.

Risk Prediction Models for Recurrence After Curative Treatment of Early‐Stage or Locally Advanced Lung Cancer: A Systematic Review

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...

Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) in a Patient With Compound Heterozygous OPA1 Variants: Case Report and Literature Review

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Symbolic computation of solutions for three generalized nonlinear partial differential eQuations by using the tanh method

open access: yes, 2009
Three nonlinear partial differential equations, namely, the standard KdV equation, the Boussinesq equation and the generalized fifthorder KdV equation are considered here from of point the view of construct exact solutions for them. The equations that we

Spinal Cord Infarction Versus Idiopathic Transverse Myelitis: Clinical, Radiological, and Functional Insights From a Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Spinal cord infarction (SCI) is a rare but devastating myelopathy, characterized by a high disability rate and an unfavorable prognosis. It has often been underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed as idiopathic transverse myelitis (ITM). This study aimed to describe the clinical features, radiological biomarkers, treatments, and functional ...

On the stationary Cahn-Hilliard equation: Interior spike solutions

open access: yes, 1998
We study solutions of the stationary Cahn-Hilliard equation in a bounded smooth domain which have a spike in the interior. We show that a large class of interior points (the "nondegenerate peak" points) have the following property: there exist such ...

Clinical Spectrum and Outcomes of SOX1 Antibody‐Associated Paraneoplastic Neurological Syndromes: A Chinese Cohort Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background SOX1 antibody‐positive paraneoplastic neurological syndromes (PNS) exhibit significant population‐specific clinical heterogeneity. While Western cohorts predominantly manifest Lambert‐Eaton myasthenic syndrome (65%–80%), comprehensive clinical characterization and treatment response data in Asian populations remain critically ...

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.
